Just 2 weeks away and we’re excited! Our Dogwood Rally at The Refuge on Roanoke Island in Wanchese, NC is planned for Friday, Sep 22nd to Sunday, Sep 24th. We have 12 Rigs from Dogwood signed up. We will assign your sites as you arrive. All the sites are FHU and lake front. We also have the pavilion reserved. We are looking forward to a great rally!
Cutoff for making reservations was Aug 22nd. Any bookings now are subject to availability and the standard nightly rate of $70. But if you can make it, we’d love to see you there.

Rally Fees: Rally fees are $20.00 per adult and $10.00 per child, under 12.

Tentative Schedule of Events:
Thursday (pre-rally): 5:00pm Happy Hour and heavy hors d’oeuvres at the Pavilion – please bring a dish to share.
Friday: 5:00 pm. Happy Hour at the Pavilion. Snacks will be provided by the Hosts
6:00pm. Chicken Dinner at the Pavilion. If your last name starts with A-J, Please bring a side-dish to share. The Hosts will provide fried chicken with mac&cheese and cake & ice cream for dessert
After dinner, please stick around and join us for a 50/50 Raffle with some nice gifts. AND then, how about some Bingo? Yes, Bingo! We have a new wheel and cards – so bring a few dollars and try your luck at filling up those cards 😁 – we will have multiple winners each game. Bring your favorite after dinner drink (and no, you don’t have to share.) Should be a lot of FUN!
Saturday: 9:30am. Potluck Breakfast at the Pavilion. If your last name starts with K-Z, Please bring a dish to share. The Hosts will provide scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, juice, and fruit.
After breakfast you are on your own for the day. Several plan to visit the Wright Brothers Memorial at Kitty Hawk. Admission is free today. The drive is almost an hour so we will carpool where possible.
Alternative places, to name a few, that may interest you are:
· Ft Raleigh National Historic Site
· North Carolina Aquarium
· Elizabethan Gardens
· The Bodie Island Lighthouse
· Outlets Nags Head (formerly Tanger Outlets Mall)
· Outer Banks Distilling
We are planning Happy Hour and Dinner at Sugar Creek, a local restaurant, about a 10-minute drive from the campground.
4:30pm. Happy Hour – Sugar Creek bar area (Pay as you go)
5:30pm. Dinner at Sugar Creek Restaurant
Sunday: 9:00am. Continental Breakfast at the Host’s site (Site #15). Hosts will provide pastries, fruit, and juice. You are welcome to bring any leftovers from Saturday. We will have tables, but limited power outlets.
Rally is concluded. Checkout is 11am. Have a safe trip to your next destination!
Note: Please bring your own plates, silverware (plasticware), napkins, and drinks.

Hello Dogwood! Our Dogwood Rally at The Refuge on Roanoke Island in Wanchese, NC is planned for Friday, Sep 22nd to Sunday, Sep 24th. We have 15 sites reserved for Dogwood and 9 of them have already been “claimed”. The discounted Rally rate is $63.00 per night, and they collect the full amount at time of booking. All the sites are FHU and lake front. We also have the pavilion reserved.

Please make your own reservation (mention Dogwood) and let us know you have. Site Numbers will not be assigned when you make your reservation. We will coordinate that with the campground at a later date.

The discounted Rally rate is $63.00 per night, and they collect the full amount at time of booking. All the sites are FHU and water front. We also have the pavilion reserved.
Cutoff for making reservations is Aug 22nd. Any bookings after that date would be subject to availability and the standard nightly rate of $70. We also have 2 additional sites reserved at Beechland. Beechland Campground is about 4 miles away and managed by the same folks as The Refuge.
