Dogwood 30th Anniversary Rally - Final Notice
Hello Dogwood Family, we hope all is well with all of you.
This is the final notice about the 30th Anniversary Rally. We hope all of you are ready to have a GREAT TIME.
The Rally will be held at Rockahock Campground, 1428 Outpost Road, Lanexa, VA 23089 (Phone: 804-966-8362), from Thursday July 23 - Sunday, July 26, 2026.

There will be 48 people attending, great crowd. An attendee list will be provided in your goody bag, along with a schedule of events.
FYI - There is a new restaurant open on the campground; several of us have tried it. Good food.

Note: Please bring your own drinks, plates, utensils, etc, to all meals.
Thursday July 23
5:00 pm - Social hour.
6:00 pm - Pizza, salad, ice cream sundaes - provided by hosts.
After dinner: Possible campfire
Friday, July 24
9:00 am - Potluck breakfast. Bring your favorite breakfast casserole/dish to share. Hosts will provide fruit and juice.

4:30 pm - Social hour. Attendees whose last name begins with A - L, please bring a snack to share
5:30 pm – Summertime cookout with burgers, hot dogs and all the trimmings, chips, vegetables, watermelon, and desert - provided by hosts, but we need grills and grillers.
After dinner: Cash and gift raffles, and Entertainment by our own Robi Robison. You don't want to miss it.
Saturday, July 25
9:00 am - Breakfast to include blueberry pancakes, eggs, sausage, fruit, juice syrup, butter. Need griddles please... Provided by hosts.
After Breakfast - Business meeting hosted by Ed Herbert
4:30 pm - Social hour. Attendees whose last name begins with M - Z, please bring a snack to share
Group Picture, wear your Dogwood garb please. Makeup artist will be available - LOL
5:30 pm – Dinner. Pork BBQ, rolls, slaw, baked beans, anniversary cake and ice cream - provided by hosts.
After dinner: Speakers, presentations, 30th Anniversary video by Paul Cummings, Dogwood Trivia.
Sunday, July 26
8:30 am - Continental breakfast - provided by hosts.
Rally officially ends after breakfast. Feel free to stay longer.

Hello Dogwood Family, hope all is well.
Sending an update on the 30th Anniversary rally which is quickly approaching. We hope that you are ready for a great time, and you still have time to sign up if you haven't already done so. Come join us.
The rally will be held at Rockahock Campground, 1428 Outpost Rd, Lanexa, VA 23089 (Phone: 804-966-8362). We have reserved 34 sites.
Dates are Thursday, July 23 - Sunday, July 26, 2026.
You are responsible for making your own reservations with the campground. Let them know that you are with the Dogwood chapter. Ten percent discount for military and First Responders. Rates are listed on our blog under initial rally announcement.
Cutoff date for campground reservations is June 15th.
Thus far 20 coaches signed up with the campground
Rally fees are $10.00 per person for the entire weekend. Dinner only will be $5.00 per person
If you have not sent in a registration form and rally fees, please do so ASAP. Thank you.

Tentative rally agenda. Final agenda along with meal selection will follow in a few weeks.
Thursday - Dinner provided by hosts, possible campfire to follow dinner.
Friday - Breakfast, potluck, bring your favorite breakfast dish/casserole to share.

Saturday - Breakfast provided by hosts
· Business meeting after breakfast
· Dinner provided by hosts
· After dinner activities to include presentations and 30th Anniversary video produced by our own Paul Cummings, along with possible trivia.
Sunday - Continental breakfast and leftovers. Official rally concludes after breakfast, stay longer if you like.
Notes: There is a new restaurant at the campground, name is Split Chick. Several of us had lunch there and reports were positive. Open breakfast, lunch and dinner.
If you like to fish, bring your gear, campground is on the river/lake.
Be sure to bring your Dogwood shirts if you have one, pictures on Saturday;
makeup artist available (LOL)

Hello Dogwood Family, hope all is well.
In February, we announced the dates and location for the Dogwood 30th Anniversary rally. Since that time, we have coordinated with the campground and are now providing Dogwood members with additional information about the rally.
NOTE: The cutoff date for making your campground reservation and sending in your registration form is June 15th, 2026.
This email is in three parts, campground reservation information, tentative rally information and schedule, and a rally registration form.

Campground Reservation Information/Procedures:
We have reserved 34 sites at Rockahock and they have been released to Dogwood. If you want to arrive early or stay later, you may do so as long as the site is available. We would suggest that you make your reservation as soon as possible as we are expecting a good turnout. If you have a problem contacting the campground, leave a message and they will return your call. Attendees are responsible for making their own reservations and paying for their own campground site Sites are as follows:
Standard sites 402-404 and 406-427
Sites are $62.00 + tax nightly Sun-Thur and $72.00 + tax nightly Fri-Sat.
Standard sites are close to pavilion, on gravel and pull-thru, FHU 50A.
Patio sites 463-467 and 469-472
Sites are $72.00 + tax nightly Sun-Thur and $82.00 + tax nightly Fri-Sat.
Sites are not as close to pavilion, have a concrete patio and are back-in, FHU 50A.
They also have Deluxe sites for $82/$92.00 per night. These sites are asphalt back-in and are available, but we do not have any reserved.
NOTES: There is a 10% discount for Military and First Responders.

We also have the indoor Pavilion reserved from Thursday morning until Sunday evening at no cost as long as we have at least 15 coaches, and that should not be a problem.
The campground asks the following:
1. The Group will respect all campground property and leave areas as found.
2. The Group will obey campground rules, regulations and policies, and will comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding alcoholic beverages, firearms, fireworks, and the dumping of wastewater on the ground.
3. Fishing Barge - Individuals who fish should hold a valid Virginia fishing license or temporary permit. (Available online.)
